I love some of the things i say. Today was surprisingly boring, especially for having josh over. At synagogue today we planned some stuff for our youth group service. shainess and i get to write the sermon, so you'll probably get a running commentary of how that's going.

It's been an awkward and long week. I got ok grades on my midterms, some better and some worse than I expected. Islamic World with Mrs. Juchnicki looks like it's going to be alot of fun. Yesterday I went to Pat's to play D&D. He got all angry because Brian and I were kidding around and "not taking the game seriously enough." Now he wants me to DM next time. For those of you who don't have enough ranks in knowledge (Nerdiness) that means i get to be the god of the nerds because he wants me to feel his frustration. I'm cool with that. After playing D&D Brian and I played DDR, and i found out that I stink alot more than I knew. Today I was supposed to go to the library to play DDR at this party thing Sara organized, but my dad's stupid car's battery died and we couldn't go anywhere. My he tried jump-starting it, but nothing worked. Now he has to use my siter's car tomorrow and then give it back. Great.

I'm al little annoyed that on friday after school Iwent to pick up work for catching up in Latin, only to find that Mrs. Sisti forgot to leave it. Bah. Today I spent all day practicing a new monologue for drama, but I kept messing up. I'm not sure I'll be able to get the whole thing down by Tuesday. Oh well. My other midterms don't worry me at all, though. Math and Latin will both be easy as pie. I'm not sure about Early Western Civ. though, we'll have to wait and see. Tomorrow I spend the entire day studying. Sounds like fun, no?

Today was an interesting day. I was relieved to find out in latin that I may sctually get a chance to go up to level one. On the other hand this would require me learning 6 chapters in about a week. I think I can do that if I spend alot of time on it. English today was amusing although WE STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN BACK OUR FABLES! We did them like two or three months ago so I'm bitter. We played pictionary and my team, the potatoes, won. During seventh period we had a fire alarm and had to go outside in the cold. Eventually we got to go into the gym. It was kind of annoying with roughly 2000 kids in one room. Apparently some girl passed out from claustrophobia and some guys got into a fight. After we got back to our seventh period classes the fire alarm went off again and we repeated the trek to the gym. By now I was sure we were missing eighth period, drama, and I was angry. We were supposed to do scenes we've been practicing for a month today, but now we aren't. More bitterness. I was helping Zach hide from Sara, Jason, and Prianca.

Zach: "There they are!"

Me:"we better run, they can smell fear"

Eventually they found us, I'm surprised we got out alive. Zach didn't take my advice to punch them in the nose to repel them. I figured it was a good idea because it repels sharks. But I guess these threats were scarier than sharks. hehehe. Then I found out there was no chess club so I was even more annoted. While waiting for my dad after school I had this conversation with Ricky Meinzner (or however you spell it) and Livy Grossman.

Ricky (to me): Do you think I have normal intelligence?

Me: No

Ricky: Well I don't think you have normal intelligence.

Me: I agree, I'm much smarter than most people.

(Ricky frowns and walks away. Later he comes back and Livy's there)

Ricky (to Livy): Do you think this kid has normal intelligence?

Livy: No way! He's a frikkin genius!

(I just grinned. Ricky proceded to jokingly bend Livy's wrist or something like that.)

Livy: Ricky, stop!

Ricky: Say I'm smarter than he is.

Livy: No, I don't tell lies. He's way smarter than you!

This whole conversation was a self-esteem booster. Even under pain, people refuse to call me stupid. Ricky's just an asshole anyways. Hebrew school was practically empty because people were studying for midterms. I guess nothing much else happened today.

Today wasn't much fun. My classes were uneventful at best, except in drama. We had alot of fun practicin for our scene tomorrow, I'm gonna miss that class. Everyone in that class is cool. Everyone is friendly to me. I shall spare their lives. Tomorrow I get my chess rematch with Adam Tortorello I've been waiting for. I always say stuff like "I'm gonna trash you!" or "you're dead meat!" but he's probably the better player. I had a detention today. It was so boring. Afterwards I had hebrew school which was equally boring, but at least it's boredom plus pay. Dad forgot to pick me up before 6:20, I was really annoyed. What a boring day.

Today was so boring so I decided to go to Barnes & Nobles to spend money. I've always wanted to spend money for the sole reason of boredom. I got Isaac Newton's Principia Mathematica, the Draconomicon (a book about dragons in D&D), and two books about Magic: the Gathering. I got all of these because I'm definitely NOT a nerd. Let's see, I've done just about no studying for midterms, something I'll probably live to regret. Tomorrow I go back to school. That bites, I was just catching up on sleep too.

Last night was a blast at the BFTY Jew-Au. I made a couple friends and played cards for awhile. People kept making me dance. ME. DANCE. Funny, no? I guess not. My "dancing" would be better compared to someone spastically waving their limbs around. I was surprised I never tripped and knocked anyone over. The rides to and from the Jew-Au were fun too. In Mr. Goldstein's car we sang "Yellow Submarine" and "Twist and Shout". On the way back we watched the first half of "Night at the Roxberry". Good times.
And now I have a long weekend and nothing to do. Go me. I'll probably spend the entire weekend camped out in front of the TV as my dad yells at me to study for midterms. Bleh. I could have sworn the tests were standardized, but my science teacher is writing one especially for us which will probably be harder than the one the other classes are getting.
I guess I'll just have to sit here and wonder whether or not things I think make me a bad person.
